The cost of therapy is a delicate but important matter.

It is part of the therapeutic framework, and it is important to address it from the very first session, with honesty and transparency.

If the person in therapy feels they cannot afford the cost, they can discuss it openly with the therapist, and together they can look for alternative solutions.

Sessions are available in English or Greek, at the office in Palaio Faliro or online.

A matter for therapy

The therapist’s fee can also become a subject of therapy. If there is a notable delay in payment, for example, that has no other explanation, it could be a sign of resistance in therapy.

A professional dimension

The fee also confirms that, apart from a human relationship, there is a professional dimension to therapy.

This may bring out several feelings that can be useful in the therapeutic process, but it also “protects” both sides in several ways.

More than value for money

After all these years of studying and working, I’d like to believe that psychotherapy is more than value for money.

I have seen people doing magic with their lives, and this is priceless.
